Have you been a developer for several years? Do you have a drive to simplify and improve system development? Do you desire to automate and minimize personal dependence and do you thrive at a high pace? If you are interested in technology but also know how to put the need of the users first we have the position for you!

This position

The position is located in our headquarter in Stockholm, Sweden.

You and the team will drive the systems' development forward, and with your solid experience you as a (lead) developer take responsibility regarding technology and architecture. The team follows good development practices such as TDD and continuous delivery. You strive to improve the development processes with Azure DevOps and Git. We value your interest to grow your skills and we encourage you to make suggestions to implement new technologies such as .NET Core, Vue and other newer technologies.

We expect you to have an interest in the business of the company, and let the bigger picture of our business guide your daily work. It is an advantage if you are able to prioritize requests from our different departments together with the product managers. You are able to translate those requests to technical requirements and communicate them to the development team. 

You are highly skilled in:

  • .NET/C#
  • SQL Server
  • CSS / Sass / Bootstrap 
  • JavaScript
  • Scrum or Kanban
  • Unit Tests

It is also an advantage if you have experience in:

  • E-commerce
  • Digital marketing
  • Azure
  • Tableau


Mediafy as a work environment

The software stack is hosted in Azure and we use DevOps and a very Scrum-inspired work method. The project consist of custom built e-commerce sites in a .NET environment from database to front-end. These include tidningskungen.se, bladkongen.no and lehtikuningas.fi. The ecosystem also includes our subscription system for tidningspaketet.se. 

These systems have been built upon since around 2004 and are constantly changing and renewed. Always with a customer need focus, recently with a bigger emphasizes on code and technology.
